Privacy Statement Pursuant to Legislative Degree 196/2003

Under Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 ("The Personal information Protection Code"), Sonic Software Italy S.r.l. informs that the processing of your personal information - which you provided to us through this website in view of establishing a potential contractual relationship as well as for any future need - is carried out under full compliance with the legal rights to fundamental freedoms, personal dignity and confidentiality.

Your "non-sensitive" personal information – shall be processed both automatically (IT-based) or manually (paper-based), in order to offer you Sonic Software products for evaluation purposes; or to acquire business information; and send educational and promotional material on the products.

Providing Sonic Software Italy S.r.l. with your personal information shall be optional.

Your objection to provide the requested personal information, or your denial to agree on the processing of your personal information in the cases provided for by law, may actually prevent Sonic Software Italy S.r.l. from achieving the above-mentioned objectives, without prejudice to Sonic Software Italy S.r.l.'s requirement to process the data in order to comply with any legal obligation.

Sonic Software Italy S.r.l. shall disclose your data to companies/consultants operating in the service provision and business consulting areas, with the sole aim to achieve objectives that are strictly related to the above-mentioned ones.

If necessary, your personal information may also be disclosed to companies of the Sonic Software Group - and, therefore, transferred abroad to both EU and non-EU countries – once again, for purposes of establishing a contractual relationship. Under no circumstance, shall your personal information be publicly divulged.

As a data subject, Art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 grants you the following rights:

  • the right to obtain confirmation as to whether your personal information exists, event if not stored, and its communication in an understandable fashion;
  • the right to obtain information concerning: a) data source, b) data processing aims and procedures, c) the principles used in the event of IT-based data processing, d) the details of the data controller and any person in charge, e) the subjects and categories to whom your personal information may be disclosed, or who may become knowledgeable about it, as either controllers or persons in charge;
  • the right to obtain: a) updated, adjusted or integrated data, b) erasure, anonymisation or blocking of data that has been processed unlawfully, c) a statement indicating that the subjects knowledgeable about the data shall be notified about the operations under points a) and b), except for the case where fulfilling this requirement is impossible, or implies using resources that are far beyond the right to be defended;
  • the right to oppose, thoroughly or partially: a) for legitimate reasons, to the processing of your personal information, although relevant to the purpose of data collection, b) to the processing of your personal data for commercial information or direct sale purposes, or to send advertising material, or carry our market researches or business communication.
